Just buzz by without knowing. The last time I was thinking about it particular statement was like...in polytechnic. I was telling my friends how time flies in poly and now (back then), we've graduated from that scary FYP we had. NO more icecreams.
I took out some photos for my mom to look at today, and realised my HK trip wasn't last year. It was years ago. *eyes roll*. Whenever I tell people about my trip, I keep referring it to 'last year'. No wonder everyone keeps asking me how come I travelled so much last year. Time flies.
My boyfriend sent me home today, to my doorstep just like every other day. But as I was walking down the steps, I started laughing. The old memories of how he used to bid me goodbye with funny "flying messages" from the stairs while I was searching for my keys right infront of my door. I haven't seen nor felt that for awhile. Time flies.
I chat with San the other day, talking about my 'problem' with self-mentality. I used to recall the good ol' days, rotting in the biz canteen or at the benches near the library with San, sharing almost everything under the sun. Yes, that reminds me of something - San, thanks for telling me how much you treasured me as a good friend. Maybe that's the one thing I can be good at.
In another few months, San will be back. I was still complaining the few days before he left for LA that he will be long gone and I'll be such a loner in school without him. But look at me now. Time flies.
Was recalling how my 21st birthday went. How i managed to gather almost everyone I know within two days. The only occassion you get to see everyone else, even those you hardly meet. Birthdays just links back to birthday parties during primary school where you get to pack few types of candies and chocolates together to give out to your friends the next day. Bday parties will have formal invitation cards too. Time flies.
Was supposed to meet my dear twin girls last week, but they had something on in the end. So i couldnt see them till they're back again the next trip. They are probably the best thing that happened to me during childhood, the two girls + kim ,who gave me a beautiful childhood.
To me, I've always looked at them like my own sisters. I love going over to their place to play silly treasure games; dipping our hands into the sink filled with gooiey mixture dark sauces and god-knows-wat-else, just to find a few toothpicks (smth like that). I love cycling with them to CSG playground, and do silly flips and swing really high on the swings, that most kids would envy how 'skilled' we were. Playground had many kids and lovely dogs around. Today, both turned into pretty ladies, much taller than me too. :) Time flies.
My granny used to cook wonderful dishes for me very often, stay over my place often too. But these days, she got weaker and weaker, more illness engulfed her energy. I miss the days when I'm always at her house, savouring the good food and having her shield me from any scoldings I get. Today, she's quite sick. I dont get to enjoy her cooking anymore. I hardly had time to visit her anymore. I really hate this...but time flies.
In another few years, when I look back at this entry, it reminds me..
