I went to watch THE HOST. Have no idea the movie existed. My attention was fixated on the movie, hardly even bothered with my surrondings. In fact, I was feeling uptight throughout the show, quietly urging the character to quickly move on!

It's a pretty good show for a Korean production. Similar to the American movies where you see big and ugly creatures eating up people. But I think I liked this much more than any big films like Anacondas, Jaws and Aliens. Not the cliche kind of story, whereby one HERO saves the world and the world lives happily ever after. For THE HOST, it's about a family and how their bond keeps them going to save the little one. Working as a team, not just a hero. And for the ending, it's quite 'open'. NO exact answer of yes or no. It all depends on how you see it.
For that, it deserves 7.8/10 from me! :D
