Moonstone

Stumbled upon this nice alfresco place at the top of our very own iconic hilltop destination, Moon Stone @ Mt Faber.

I was there to catch a glimpse of the said tallest Christmas tree when we heard a faint, songful voice singing in perfect harmony with the sound of guitar.

Digressing a little, the tree doesn't really look like a real Christmas tree when we're standing right in front of it. It pretty much is an electric pylon decorated with many many colorful bulbs.

Anyway, back to the soothing voice that drew us towards it. We followed the melodious music all the way to Moon Stone, and even though I wasn't too hungry to spend $10 bucks on fries, the beautiful tunes were hard to resist (hypnotizing?!).

We've got a good seat facing the blossoming Sentosa, with the band singing right on our side. It was wonderful. :) The band was great, aptly singing romantic songs for the lovebirds around. I would go back again for its ambiance, really. :)
