Took Friday off to pack in the morning, and rushed down to the Tanah Merah Ferry. A short journey of about 45 minutes and we've arrived at Bintan island!
Bintan is all about the blue skies, the greenery, the sea, the seagulls, the serenity and relaxation! A perfect picture that sums it all!
We were greeted by friendly hotel service staffs upon arrival; we had complimentary juices and a welcome local dance performance!
We're actually quite psyche about coming over, as we could live like queens right here with millions of rupiahs and also, a large villa for just the 4 of us! The best thing of all - we would have a complimentary Buggy! Very, very convenient to drive around, especially to go to the beach, go for dinner and discovering other places.
Look at our big villa! There's kitchen for washing and cooking; they even has frying pans and woks, rice cooker, coffee maker, all sizes of knives, plenty of cutlery and a microwave oven too. Family friendly, especially for people who wanna bbq here too. Private bbq! In the living area, there's also a dvd player with stereo system! How cool!
We took turns to drive the buggy - even though Lindy didn't have license. Heh. It was really funny how it turned out! :P
We drove right to the beach for a quick phototaking, take a breath of fresh air and search for good dining place for the day.
Settled at the neared beach cafe, with extra large servings of western food. Mainly burgers and pizzas cost about SGD 17! Very expensive..
After dinner, we went to Pasar Ole Ole for some local shopping. We need to share a cab (about SGD 20) for a 15minutes ride there. Many shops selling fake branded bags and clothes, a hell lot of bikinis and handicrafts.
And something that could not be missed - their affordable massages and spa packages!
Being the first night, we decided to take it easy, just going for the basic body massage for tonight. Whitening and invigorating spa leave for tomorrow! ;)
That pretty much marks the end of the first day. Not to mention the embarrassing night, where I kept everyone awake because there were tonnes of gigantic beetles flying around the house! It's not just big, its HUGE! I was scared stiff :(
Let's hope it wouldnt be as bad for the next day.

OMG... i miss our bintan trip. And also rmb the power failure when we are showering and Cindy can still shower so calmly. Hahaa.. Then i say imagine half way through somebody pass you the shampoo. haha..
And you suddenly shriek in the middle of the night when you thought you hear the buzzing noise.
