Bintan II

Start of the day with a hefty spread of asian breakfast. The usuals of scrambled/sunny side up eggs, hotdogs and sausages, porridge and fried rice, cereals and toasted breads, fruits and salads, and not forgetting, their very own local kueis and pastries.

After breakfast, we had to replenish our layered sunblock, trying our best to stay fair at all cost! (Apparently it didn't work because everyone said I became tanned!)
The next activity is definitely going to roast us until we turn bronze. The skies were so clear, the blue was almost opaque.

Heads up - starting our engines for the Dune Buggy!

Despite the sweltering heat, we had great fun riding the dune buggy! We took turns to drive for this 1.hr adventure as we drive through uneven muddy grounds, sandy beach, dense heaps of grass and skinny trees. Many up and down slopes, with all kinds of obstacles along the way (skinny tree branches, stones, rocks, shells?, etc..) It was rather bumpy ride! Heh, I even ramped into a tree once! :X Give me some credit lah, I hardly drive.. not only was it a manual jeep, it has NO POWER STEERING!

Halfway through our adventure, our guide took us to a beautiful beautiful beach right in the middle of our resort. No-access for sun-worshipers to lie in the sandy beach, in fact, nobody would know it even exist! It's way too deep into the island. Thanks to the ride, we got a chance to take a picture right there!

When we return, we could feel the heat radiating from our own arms and legs. It was that hot! What would then be the best remedy at this time?

To soak in the sea!

We changed into our bikinis and dash right into the sea! The waves kept crashing into us as we soaked in the clear waters, and you could see birds circling in the air as if to enjoy the sunny weather. All the soaking, wadding, shell picking, drawing in the sand wasn't ultimatum.

Right after, we went to the private pool with its very own pool bar! We ordered some snacks and drinks as we chat till our hearts content! Very relaxing.. Best time of the day!

That pretty much ends our day. It was really tiring for the second day even though it was just a few activities. At night, we went down to Pasar Ole Ole again for whitening spa this time! It feels quite good, given the affordable price :D

By night fall, we took a good long bath and enjoyed our late dinner/supper in the comfort of our own huge living room with air-condition on! In-room service for their local cuisine, which I thought tasted better than those we ate outside!

Before we even did our mask, all 4 of us were too tired and we hit the sack right after dinner. :)

Glad you've enjoyed yourself thoroughly ... or maybe tiredly. LoL (",)
