Evan Almighty was really funny; I couldn't stop laughing at how a Congressman can turn into a new-aged Noah. It was damn hilarious, I even had tears in my eyes as my tummy cringed during the show.
I liked the part about what "God" actually said to Joan.
"If you pray for courage, God wouldn't give you courage. He gives you an opportunity to become courageous."
"If you pray for a closer bond with your family, God wouldn't give you a fuzzy warm feeling. He gives you an opportunity to be closer with your family"
"In Noah's Ark, why do animals come in pairs? It actually symbolises how animals stand by one another, side by side through the obstacles in life".
Isn't it sweet?
Anyway, a simple gathering with a few people, a quick dinner and off we go. It was a good one still, because I haven't seen them for awhile. Thanks for making time for this. :)
Oh, and Xav bought me a Adidas Jacket! Wohoo! Nice! :)))
