Mini trip

We're on budget lately, just to prep for coming HK/China trip. This mini-JB-shopping-trip was thus kept on a really small scale, with only four of us going.

I met up with Ah teck first to catch 170, and Ben & Lindy board at Kranji station. There was only a slight jam, so we didn't quite waste much time travelling on our own. However, at Malaysia custom, there were queues and queues of foreign visitors jammed within the small premise. We were at the last queue nearest to wall and there were like, families and smart-alecs trying their luck by cutting queue. In some sense, it looked pretty dumb because they were pretending to be standing next to our line chatting, and within minutes, they slowly tiptoed nearer and nearer, until they are able to assimilate into the meandering long queues.

Unlike the two guys who were somehow fooled by these invisible people (thinking that they were there all along), I was pretty disgruntled by such behavior. I was stubborn enough not to move an inch to let them into the line, despite that I am but a runty girl. At that moment, there wasn't any fear or much thought at all, I just feel that it wouldn't be justified if i were to let them their way just because I'm small. Apart from that, these people were actually congesting the entire walkway! All my grumbling and evil eye peering didn't quite work, these inconsiderate people just ignored me.

Thankfully, there was a H E R O infront of us, who made our day. Seriously, I admired his courage and righteousness. He actually told them off like three times, that they shouldnt be cutting the line and he wouldn't allow that to happen. Or the like. And when that happened, these donkeys just backed out in silence. I seriously didn't feel a teeny bit sorry for such people, my heart just couldn't hold back smirking right from within.

Putting that aside, the rest of the day went smoothly. Lunch at Pizza Hut of Holiday plaza was truly value for money! Food was quite good, it was cheap and service was remarkable! We were served really shortly, none of our requests delayed any longer than 5 minutes and every service person was exceptionally polite and courteous! Compared to singapore, those teens who were working for extra pocket money couldn't care less about your missing cheese or pepper. Even if they do, it comes with something extra : A T T I T U D E

The rest of the day shopping for miscellaneous stuffs, and the more exciting event of this trip would be the foot massage! My first attempt to try massaging services! I tell you, I was really nervous. I heard that it does hurt and I have really sensitive foot! I even had an experienced uncle to do it for me! It was pretty embarrassing at first, partly that I've never let any men touch my feet before (except for my dad). But uncle was really good, he tried to use only 60% of his usual strength for a lousy first timer like me. Heh. On the whole, I think I survived it well. No complains! :))

Finally, dinner at Teck Sin cafe. Food was also VFM because of the variety and portions for four. It was so good, we finished everythign! We left JB with bloated tummies and happy smiles!
