8 months old

This is June already and Giorgio is now 8 months old. Looking at his size, he definitely frightens most people. But if you learn more about him, deep down inside, he is just like another child. On fours and with fur of course.

I can proudly say that he has completely stopped his bad habits, for e.g eating his own poo, chewing our belongings. Speaking of this, he is a really intelligent boy. He knows what belongs to him and which does not. Anything that wasn't given to him, he wouldn';t be allowed to touch them. So even if I leave a doggie gummy on the floor, he wouldn;t dare to eat it if I didn't explicitly tell him that I'm going to give him. :)

He's 100% toilet trained now, the tonnes of newspaper we collected previously shall now all go to the Garang Guni man. On top of that, Giorgio has mastered roll pretty well that, even without us saying it, he kinda expected that command to come after "Down". Heh. So.. we tried to change the sequence here and there, hopefully he will get it much easily as time goes by.

New skills include keeping his toys in the basket and playing the slide. OK, playing slide does not really consider as a skill, but least it's something he had to learn to do it the first few times. And he loves it! Another important skill would be "stay" and balancing items on its head! :P

Oh, not forgetting swimming. He learned to swim! He was actually afraid of the waters at first, but after a warm up session, he is really comfortable in it! Swimming, or just simply basking under the sun, having his body half-submerged near the shore waters. He can even fetch his toy when we throw it into the water!

And during this month, it is his first experience for grooming. The groomer said that he wasn't interacting with other dogs, and really shy. And at the end of the day, he actually sulked the entire night! He was really unhappy that we left him there for two hours +. No matter how we tried playing, tempting him with treats or snuggling him in our arms, he just didn't show interest. Luckily, dogs don't hold grudges. Haha. He kinda forgot everything the next day :) That's the summary for the month now! Till then!
