A day at JB

Saturdays were meant to be a good day for students to sleep till noon; a good day for working people a good day for rest; a special shopping ocassion for shopaholics. But we chose to spend this very day, with a bunch of great people.

Our long planned holiday had finally came true. Although we didn't go anywhere too far away, JB was good enough. It's the people that created the conivivial atmosphere during our trip. :)

It's really early in the morning, so that quite explains why we looked rather pale and the pictures during the journey were taken with a forced-smile.

Raine's Aunt was really nice to offer to drive us around JB, taking us to good places for shopping and eating.

Morning brunch at a famous Bakuteh stall, highly recommended by Raine and her aunt. I'm not a very huge fan of porky food, so I don't think I have much to say about the food anyhows.

Shopping fun at Justco. It was mainly a girl's shopping session while the guys, went out elsewhere for .. (special) massage? Heh. God knows.

Girls. Girls. Girls. Fooling around Toys R us. This is where I bought the Pink furs for my room. :)

Our trip to Raine's Aunt and grandma's place :)

She has a swing! Not the modern kind of one-seater swing. The four-seater kind!

At her granny's place, there's the traditional stove for cooking. I bet you can't find this anywhere in Singapore anymore.

Of course, her granny's ain't no old-fashioned nanna. She has the modernized stove as well. It's quicker to cook that way, you stupid. The old-brick stove would only be used for preparing yearly reunion dinners when Raine and her relatives would gather at her granny's place. :)

Here would be Aunt's place, where you can see Raine pointing finger at something OR someone. Well, in this case, it would be Someone. Cos that someone tries to impress Aunt and earn some 'points'. Hehe. Inside joke.

And lastly, dinner at Prince's seafood restaurant (or something of the like, I can't remember the name). I'm quite lazy to be talking in details about such a long-past event. This is the only interesting thing I found at the restaurant.

Look at the huge china pots. These are actually used for storing the brewed soup. Interesting eh?

Some unhappy things happened at the dinner table but I don't want to talk about it since it's over. And the guys would be laughing away about that incident. Just for the record, it's all about insensitivity. :P
