Can't believe I was so loh-soh about a thailand trip. if I went to 8 days Europe, I think I'll probably take a month to finish! Come to think again, I'm writing the details for myself to remember clearer lah. if you find it boring then too bad lor. ;P
*Think i forget to mention, do you know that my little cousin SAFIA is only 1 month and 12 days old?
*Remember about the part where i talked about small world? Well, i actually met one of my secondary school friend's brother in thailand! Gosh, i've known him for sooo many years, I've seen him prolly three times in the past 8 years. I actually met him in BKK twice!!! :P
Our 3rd day shopping. But this time, we've decided to go Platinum Fashion Mall. it is just round the corner across our hotel. Good place to shop because of its walking distance, maybe about 7 minutes stroll along the long stretch of stalls along the way. And, it sells things at wholesale prices! Yes, Ho-sale-pie! And as compared to the other shopping places we've been to, this is one that has more trendy and up-to-date goods. Oh and it is air-conditioned shopping mall! So cool lah.
I forget to mention that we actually went MBK for awhile on Day 2 and the items there doesn't quite suit me. Clothes were pretty outdated and the prices weren't as cheap. Prices starting from 150baht and harder to bargain! Usually they'll tell you it's fixed. :/
There are about 5-6 levels at Platinum Fashion Mall, and I actually spent 3 hours to finish level 4 itself! There are many things to see and buy. As long as you purchase 3 or more of any items in the stall, you can recieve wholesale prices! Very shiok lor. Accessories are only 29 baht ~ 250 baht max, which is approximately $10 max! But rarely lah, unless it is really exquisite lor. :D
We shopped from 12 all the way till 6pm, and continued at the mini-stalls on our way back. ONLY on sundays, that they have many more stalls open right below Baiyoke Sky hotel. Strange thing is, traffic is much smoother on a Sunday only! Yayy! No traffic jams!
Lunch at its foodcourt!
We went back to hotel to unload our items. By then, it's already 8pm. SOooooooOO tiring ok! Legs really aching, your back feels very tired. All you need is to lie down and rest....

By the time we met up with my uncle for dinner, it's almost 9.30pm already. Most of the things were sold out, so we had to dine in a INdian seafood restaurant again.

Right after dinner, we went Suan-lum again! Yes, i know! Three consecutive nights!! haha..I really loved that place very much. So many items to see lor! My mum finally bought herself a bag after soo many days of shopping. My boyfriend bought items for his family members as well.
By the time we're back in hotel and took turns to shower... we begin packing things into our bags. Luckily, my boyfriend smart lar. Brought a huge lugguage bag that was pretty empty. Now, it's full! We had 3 additionally hand-carry bags as well. Feel so good to buy so many things without much worries right?

Only a small region belongs to me lor. All other items are my boyfriend's, my mum's or gifts for friends. This is not all ok? These are only items for Day 1 and 2. I didnt have time to take Day 3 and last day one.
Right after packing, we decided to go up to its roof to take picture of the awe-inspiring view. It's reallllyyyy beautiful!

In the end, we went to bed almost 3am already... (Sg 4am!)

Last Day:
We went for the third buffet breakfast in the morning. We actually ate less and less each day, cos the food is the exactly the same throughout the entire weekend. Gettin boring..
We checked out at 12pm today and did the last minute shopping ( again). We went to Platinum Mall to buy some bags that I saw lastnight and WILL regret if i didnt buy it today. After the shopping, we went back to MBK to get my jershey. I was too cheapskate lar, found it too expensive. It was about $17 but the quality was really, really good. I did a few comparison of jersheys across the malls and the one at MBK is still the best. Others were indeed much cheaper, but you will have to compromise with the quality lar.
And i actually realise something. 2006 happened to be their King's 60th anniversary. Well, not his birthday though. He's already 70-80plus I think. There are posters of him everywhere and I must say, he looked quite handsome when he was half his age. And thais are showed their unwavering loyalty to his royalty by manufacturing, selling and even wearing clothes that symbolizes all that! Oh, yes, the shirts actually have print of "I LOVE MY KING" on it.

People in yellow everywhere....
And our final dinner at MK Restaurant. Delicious steamboat!!

And by 6pm, we were at the airport. So sad we have to bid my uncle and aunty goodbye! I'm so going to miss them, and baby Safia and of course, this wonderful place! Apart from shopping, the food here is marvellous. Tom yam goong! Spicy veggies! *Slurrrp!*
Say good bye to little Safia, shall see her in december when she's coming to my house! :)
The flight back to Singapore was much better than the first one. I slept throughout the flight. This trip was really tiring for me, I had a long rest thereafter. That's why I haven't been blogging for awhile! There are still events coming, so I better fnish the last few entries of my gathering. Urgh. So tired.
Here are my goodies!!

Oh, my boyfriend even bought me a nice tiara!! Really loved it. I don;t think I would wear it out to any place, but I just love to look at it! SO happy lor. I wanan collect more nice tiaras! :P

Ok, that's all for my thailand trip!
