We've finally graduated from the new hires batch, Mar 2008!
Had our 'exam' yesterday; everyone passed. We're now officially 'certified' newbies. :) It was a great two and a half weeks. Met great people, made new fun friends. We may not know each other very well, but they've showed their fair share of care for a new friend in me. All the fun and laughter, sharing lame jokes and playing hangman in class; the long lunch breaks and after work drinking sessions, it was a good tw0-week.
Back to office was exceptionally hectic. It's merely two days, and I've OT-ed till 6.30pm. It's exciting, challenging, tiring and fulfilling. Finally serving my 3 managers, really busy. Got my own desk, cleaned and decorated it. :) A little. Need to buy more things to fill it up.

I guess the only thing I wanna hear is encouragement and motivation; or least just words of concern or a patient listening ear. Anything else, I'd rather not hear or listen. Because I totally understand that everyone meant well, even I know the cruel possibilites of what's to come. I know how to get myself prepared, so just leave out the cliche comments like "time will heal", "move on", "you'll be fine", "look on the bright side", "there are many things in life to look forward to".
I clearly know all of that; I am very sober.
When everyone is blissfully in love, they somehow forget how they used to be when they've once been in the darkest caves as well. Nobody believes in true feelings and sincerity anymore; because they currently live in a world of fantasy. Because all these will only be realized when it's gone. .
Alright, enough of venting..
