Elise's Wedding

Raine, Jan and Loofern were Elise's jie mei's for the day. Together with 4 other friends, we had to come up with last minute plans to test Nelson's will and ability to save his damsel in distress. Heh. Being the gabbiest amongst the other bridesmaids, I was the 'head' of jie meis; being the only bravest one securing the main gate. *ahem*

I had to instruct the boys to complete their tasks with integrity; ensuring that they do not cheat (like most of them actually pour the soya sauce into the drains). It was quite fun though, having them gulping down cups of soya sauce and chilly, painting their nails pink, passing one miserable piece of chocolate with their mouths from one person to another, having Nelson to pledge his love to Elise loudly for the world to know. ;)

And that Nelson, very cheeky. He actually wanted me to ask for a BIG ang bao. So I thought," Big ang bao, of course we want!" And he really took out an A4 size envelop with only two one-dollar coins inside! Being head of jie meis, I immediately protested incessantly, going on and on about his stingy $2 only :P Alas, he took out the real gold ang bao; the one that Elise constantly reminds us about, the one that signifies the last ang bao he would give regardless of our mischievious plans.

This is how my 2 minute of fame came about when everyone in the ballroom watched the day's video taken in the morning. (-,-). Everyone was calling me the $2 girl.


It was a beautiful evening to witness Nelson and Elise's solemnization; after knowing them both for so many years. The lovely couple complemented each other really well; like leaves and flowers, and bees and honey. Nelson wrapped up the ceremony with a romantic gesture; by singing infront of many guests as he looked deep into Elise's eyes. He was holding her hand to his heart, trying to remain composed as his hands were shivering (according to Elise) in cold sweat. And as he sang, his eyes were filled with joyful tears. It was really touching. =)

Well, ended the night with taking plenty of photos with my favorite people and my jie meis. Enjoy the collage as I continue editing the rest of the pictures :P
