It's truly amazing how time come and goes, like a snap of a finger or a blink of an eye. It's almost mid-july and school's starting in no time. I can't tell you how much I'm missing my holidays already.
This has been a really fruitful break for me; so much I have learnt and did, probably a vacation I wouldn't forget. Endless activites which may be frivolous to most people, however, means a whole lot to me. It's time well spent that I'd never regret.
Here's a compendium of events and afterthoughts during the past 3 months.
I've had a great start, spending a great deal of time at home, keeping my mum company. It's something I've always wanted to do during my semester. Even if it's mere watching tv together, it's the feeling of having each other by the side that makes me happy. I'm really glad we took this period to chat and talk about everything that revolved around us. This is the precious time I know I can never have after I've graduated. Looking at the speed time is racing by, I couldn't help but start missing my mum already (since my brother is getting married very soon, it's actually reflecting how it'd be for me too). If it's possible, I just wished I could be by her side till the end of time.
Apart from that, I also took this time to train my mischievous furball. I just wanted to ensure he had proper training and that he would be obedient enough when the next semester begins. In a way, it gives a better reason to be at ease when I'm school by then. All the bathing, training, playing, walking is really wearing my patience out. I couldn't imagine what happens if he was my child instead. I guess I'm too caring for my own good! But least, I am a lot more patient than I think I used to be. ;)
I've fulfilled most of wished-to-go places. I've been to night safari, brought Giorgio to sentosa, a short trip to HK/China. Things to celebrate include JT's 21st birthday bash and she has grown into a pretty lady today! Xav's brother just ROM-ed (more photos!). Cindy's about to get a pretty good job. Raine's got promoted. :))
I've also met up with people I want to for at least once; such as San, Jingting, Matt, Pete, the wolves and my polyfriends (Still missing out Lixin and Michelle,eh?). My secondary school and uni meeting is coming up too. So people, I am still alive :)
However, from the happy events to the not-so-happy ones, Yusheng has flown over to the funfilled university in Aussie land for 3 years. We've prepared a farewell dinner together with Loo's belated bday (photos coming soon!), sent him off and watch the whole sad bid-goodbye all over like what happened years back when Raine left. Qw and Yap will be going for overseas work for a short period of time. And I just learnt that some people around me are going through tough times now. All i hope is for everyone to be safe and healthy :)
Not just people that I'm concerned about; I've also done up a pretty good CV ready for coming graduation. It's almost time of the year to start planning and bidding all over again, for the final time as well. School's a boring place so let's not talk about this now. ;)
Last but not least, been pretty occupied with my other entertainment as well. It's a treasured personal-space kind of time that I'm really enjoying; totally engaged in my Nintendo Wii that my boyfriend bought me, completed my book and continuing on Yap's recommendation now, pursuing Kiefer Sutherland from one season to another in 24, catching the desperate housewives in their dramatic lives in a simple town, re-arranging & decorating my photo albums and having fun editing tonnes of endless photos, especially the two product shoots I've done (and it's due very soon but I'm not even half done! :[ ).
Not forgetting the holiday movie season that has also loads of good movies queuing for my attention already. Fantastic four's got the cute eye candy (also starring in Cellular, I just found out!), Chris Evans, Shrek 3's got a final wrap I guess, Transformers' just brought fantasy closer to reality and I'm just lovin' the entire action-packed-with-humour movie sooo much, I actually watched it twice! Still more to come is Die Hard 4.0, Harry Potter, No vacancy (in case you don't know, it's starring Kate Beckinsale!), Hot fuzz, etc...
And finally, I've actually left out the part about full-time maid dealing with daily chores and babysitting the furball. It's so boring, I can't even type anything more than this.
Now, just today, I met up with the wolves and had a great short-catching up. I watched Transformers again with Yap and I still think it is awesome. I liked bumble bee, just like what most girls would like. Only during the coffee session, I found out that Yap's leaving veyr soon for business trip too! On a happy note, I recieved my belated birthday pressie from Mj & Yap today. And I really liked it! :)) Thanks, thanks hor :D
There. A long-recap of my vacation.
Wonderful as it is. To me. :)
Life is good, really good. A lot of reflections and lessons learnt, a lot of quality time with people I cared about.
Alright, that's all for tonight. I'll be back soon with all the missing pictures :)
