Slowing down

Alot had happened, too little time to reflect. It's my holiday, but there are many things for me to do. Chores itself is an ongoing tasks; now that I have all the time in the world, I shouldn't be complaining about helping out with dishes, clothes and babysitting the dog.

I even had a bad fall at home and sprained my arm and wrist. Just to get it fixed, I waited for a good sinsei for 12 hours for my turn. After 12 hours of wait, 45 minutes of fixing and 4 days of pain, now i'm up and running!

Apart from that, good meet ups with Lishan and San, my poly friends, Eric, Night safari with P*, and celebrating birthdays. So many photos to edit and upload. More people to meet too! Michelle, Lixin, Eric again, Lawrence, etc. etc. I can't even remember who's next!

My birthday is round the corner, next week from thursday-saturday, it's taken. Haha. For my birthday meetup, do drop me a message and we'll arrange again ya? ;)

There. I've summarized the activites that happened since my holidays, I will upload the actual entries by next week hopefully. And today is mother's day. We're going esplanade for dinner in a jiffy. And I am LATE! So, here you go. My mother's day hand-made flowers! More uploads soon...

Mother's day

We made reservations at No-signboard Seafood restaurant at Esplanade.

Well, when I made that call, the assistant seemed to over-state their 'popularity'. She told me that if we're desperate, they could try to squeeze in another table for us but we have to dine at an earlier timeslot, say 6pm. Our usual dinner time is about 7.30pm, so 6pm is actually too early. But it was better than not able to get a good place to eat, so I agreed. Right before we hang up, the lady over the line told me that we had to be punctual, else they will give our reservation to someone else who arrived first.

Just because of that, we had to rush and leave our home early. Surprisingly, it was less than half occupied. By 7.30pm, there were more customers, but definitely a lot more tables available. See what I mean by overstating?

Anyway, I heard from Mj that this particular branch food is actually more expensive than its other branches. I'm not quite sure how true but.. least the food was quite good. :)

I went for second round dinner over at Xav's house, where they had steamboat for dinner. Very very filling for double dinner! Gym, gym, gym soon! Anyone?
