Shoe search on a sunday, a day I would squeeze to complete all my piling tutorials and projects. But I chose to go hunting for a black shoe with the guys. A shoe for Ben.
Has anyone ever mentioned that hunting for men's shoe is such a difficult task? Women had thousands of variety to choose from. Heels, strap, high heels, low heels, flats, pumps, suedes, pointed ones, round ones, lacey ones, colorful ones, butterfly and flowery ones, printed ones, boots, strapless ones..
Men?
Black shoe. Brown shoe. Shiny or non-shiny. Pointy or square.
Ben wanted a simple black shoe for work but not too 'simple' one. In my opinion, I was looking for semi-square front with maybe, some design along the sides. The common ones you see in hush puppies or pedro. But he found those too simple. I looked around for another 10 designs. It's like looking at 10 other leopards in Africa and picking one that has a slightly more unique spot.
Anyway, not complaining that Ben is being picky or something. Just a thought of being so fortunate to have wide range of designs to pick from for ladies.
On a sidenote, Chinatown is no longer an aunty's paradize. Take a walk and you'll see the thailand lookalike mini-shops selling clothes and accessories which were the vogue of our current decade.
