I didn't quite like the idea of gambling but somehow, i was hooked for awhile. It's spookie in some sense because I didnt' think I would ever try gambing in a casino. But I did. Anyway, there's nothing much I could do too. During the two days, it was raining cats and dogs so I couldn't go to the themepark. I couldnt go to the KTV because I had sorethroat and flu since the day of arrival. Apart from bowling and shopping, I'm pretty much confined to only Casino. The good thing is, I get to spend 400RM for shopping ( thanks dad!). How often can you feel that carefree to buy anything you want? Wah, the feeling is damn good! I bought about 5 tops and a bag. :) :) :)
First time on board of a budget airplane. What you pay is what you get. At prices above $200 per tix to Malaysia, you will go through a sheltered walkway into the plane with designated seats. Your luggages will be transported via the belts and safely delivered to the plane without you knowing. You'll receive service that makes the whole trip so comfortable.
BUT, with budget airlines, you see everything. You will not have any sheltered walkway (unless there is a downpour), you will have make your way asap across the open area where the planes land. Seats are first come first serve,so you can see many typical Singaporeans dashing to queue right infront to get "good" seats. The luggages will be placed on the belts too, but you can actually see it falling out of the 'window', landing on god-knows-what. You can the "thump!" when your luggage leaves your sight. It's like how trash is dumped.
Even the flight attendants don't give a shit what you do on the plane. I suppose they are also receiving 'budget' pays. When demonstrating the safety procedures on board, they demonstrated the procedures with NO Facial expressions at all, every move seemed really lethargic. Its as if they've done it more than a thousand times a day.
20 minutes after we take off, the flight attendants would push the mini-food trolley (whatever you call that) along the aisle and take orders for beverages or snacks. Long before that, I was hungry so I decided to order a 'Ham & cheese croissant'. As they came by, it definitely wasn't slow enough that I could stop them. It was as if they wish they could 'siam' asap so no one would bother to order anymore.
Wah, my boyfriend had to raise his hand and stand up to stop them. The funny thing is, after 5 minutes of chewing, the pilot announced that we'll be landing soon. The lights went out and seat-belt sign was back on. Everyone should be in upright position and be ready for landing. I was kinda kan cheong, so I quickly gobble up the yummy croissant.

FINALLY, we landed.
WAH LAU. Haven't land they annoucne that we're landing? And the food comes so EARLY that I dont think we have time to finish it? Imagine people who order Maggie mee lor. When you are cooling your mee, and before you can take the third bite, the pilot announces that you're going to land. So what you supposed to do with the remaining mee?
Argh, anyway. That's no important. It's budget airline, what do you expect?

It's quite distinctive that Malaysia has many hills and highlands. You get to see miles of trees along the dark, long roads.
The $38.40 per person meal at "AH YI BAO YU" restaurant. Yeah, the one advertised on tv. Nothing very great about it. However, the service was superb. Tea will always be refilled once it's half-full. You will always have new plates every dish. But it feels damn weird to have 4 waiters standing nearby to watch your every move. You'll feel like a loutish caveman if you ever burp lor.
In the end, I was really sick for the last two days. I didn't sleep more than 8 hours for 2 nights. I arrived Singapore about 1130pm on Friday. And i had to join my brother and his girlfriend for the Da vinci Code contest the next morning at 10am. I slept at 2am OK!! I was such a dork, to think that I actually went to do last minute readings and understanding of Da vinci code. I read up almost everything related! Mona lisa, Last supper, Vitruvian Man, the holy grail, Belisk, Priory of Sion, Chalice, Robert Langley, Albino, argh! Krap. I read everything.
